Today would have been my popS 80th birthday. I miss the little things he used to do for me on a daily basis. Make me hot Lipton tea con limón, every morning. He’d kiss me on the forehead when he went to work at 6am, and he’d kiss me when he came back home, exhausted but still wanting to see us play with the Tonka trucks and dolls late at night. I can still smell his cologne when I close my eyes… Yes, that’s how bad I miss him!

You’ll never know what this is like until you lose a parent. Cherish them, love them, respect them and spend as much time with them as you can. It’ll be 4 years that he’s passed this September 24th, I still can’t fathom the idea of not having him around.

I do now that things have happened to me in the positive and all I can do is look up & thank him for the “help”…the nudge. Gracias Papi por todo lo que haces y sigues haciendo por tu familia. Te adoramos y te extrañamos cada dia mas. I’m holding it down for mom as I promised. I’m seeing the world, having fun and thriving just like I said I would. You’ve given me the wings to fly and now I’m taking OFF! I love you daddy. ‹3 Happy 80th. Besos y abrazos.
